The Blind Vote

Well, Mike and I have been stressing over which house we should move in to when we move up to Indiana in May. You saw the pictures of the old house in Lebanon, IN, but we have also been offered his brother's house and a friend's house.
All are good for different reasons. So it was so hard to decide.
So, after talking with our bishop (for an outsider's rational view) we wrote two identical lists out. Three columns (one per house), and ten catagorical rows, including rent and average utilities, school system, distance from work, etc. We covered our papers and ranked each catagory 1-5. We added up our scores and then shared our totals.
Mike and my total scores were as follows: 45, 34/35, and 38.
Without being influenced by the other, we came up with the same answer.
We feel so blessed to have had so many options and so many people that care about us. At different time, different people have brought things to our attention that we normally wouldn't have thought of.
But, alas, we definitely feel that the best place for our little foursome is in an old, creaky house in a little town, north of Indy! So, Lebanon, here we come!!!!!
